CREATIVE REVOLUTION
[Concept]
The theme of this collection has been inspired by the work of Polish artist Zdzislaw Beksinski.
Human beings have undergone innumerable evolutions in our natural history.
I considered the possibility of what the next human evolution could be, and created designs based on my assumptions. I call it “The body into clothes”.
I feel a strong sense of continuity in Beksinski’s work. For example, his images often contain disfigured bodies and unknown forms melting together, subtly blurring the borderlines between one object and its surrounding space, thus creating an ethereal picture of a strange world.
In order to express the idea of “clothes created from the body, ” I have based my designs on the fundamental support structures of the human body-bones, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels, and Beksinski’s work.
