Odd Beauty
[Concept]
The motif is the expression of the twisted body.
The inspiration is the skill of SURREALISM.
Through impractical and strange, I utilize beautiful and artistic expression for my fashion idea.
Using the knit of the run and the leather, the irregular and twisted silhouette is produced by the extremes of the soft and hardness. Strange and elegant style is produced by the damaged material the elegant design.

奇妙な美
［コンセプト］
人体の歪んだ表現をモチーフとするシュルレアリスムからのインスピレーション。
非現実的で奇妙だが、美しい表現をファッションに落とし込む。
伝線した天竺と分厚いレザーを使用し、柔らかさと硬さの両極端を組み合わせることにより、
不規則で歪んだシルエットに。
ダメージ感のある素材により、奇妙だが美しいスタイルに表現。

BLACK HOLE
[Concept]
Ultra-high destiny. Super gravity. Heavenly body where everything is swallowed “Black hole”. This overwhelming is a source of my creation. This heavenly body distorts light, and has the feature in which all materials are swallowed.
I got an inspiration from this feature, and researched “Pattern where it disappeared”.
The detail is composed based on it. Clothes are stabled as existence of unique by making super peculiar existence clothes and those who see are overwhelmed.

超高密度、超重力、全てを呑み込む天体「ブラックホール」
この圧倒的存在がクリエーションの根源である。
周囲は光すらねじ曲げ、全ての物体を呑み込むという特徴をインスピレーションに消えていくパターンを研究。それをもとにディテールを構成。表現。
超特異的存在を服に落とし込むことで、唯一無二の存在として確立し、見るものを圧倒する。

Double helix structure
[Concept]
I have studied about the structural form by the torsion because the structure of DNA “Double helix structure” made a deep impression on me.
Therefore, I deformed it by using a sort of braided cord “scoubidou”.
Braiding flat grosgrain tapes, it made a structural impression like a DNA and a spiral staircase.
Using the flowing from the torsion, I make an oddly and delicate shape.

二重螺旋構造
［コンセプト］
DNAの構造である「ニ重螺旋構造」に魅了され、ねじりによって構成されるフォルムを研究した。
そこで、組み紐の一種である「スクービードゥ」を用いてニ重螺旋構造をデフォルメ化、平面上のグログランテープを編む事で、DNAや螺旋階段のような構築的な印象に。
ねじりから生み出される龍道灌を利用し、奇妙かつ繊細なフォルムを形成する。

Phase Transition
[Concept]
Focusing on the process of substance “GAS-Solid-Liquid”, I express in clothes “melting” ”sublimation” ”vaporization” and so on to create a new plastic from and fluid silhouette.
In addition, sublimation” inspires me to create new material with fiber optic by Japanese traditional braiding technique.
It makes my work more modern and original.
From line to surface, from surface to line, my works will contain the strength and the lightness from an optic and structural point of view.

optical illusion ～Draping approach to illusion～
[Concept]
Dress, made with one pattern.
This design introduces the method and technique of Escher’s “Trompe-l’oeil”, which is commonly used in Surrealism.
The new form, away from idea of separating front and back body, is designed by using optical illusion.
It gives feeling of wonder like Escher’s illusionism, and enables to formulate clothes from visual side.

optical illusion ～錯覚的アプローチによるドレーピング～
［コンセプト］
一枚のパターンから描かれる衣服。
シュルレアリスムにおいて用いられたトロンプ・ルイユ「エッシャーのだまし絵」の手法を技法として取り入れデザイン。
衣服をデザインする上で前身頃、後身頃と分ける考えから外れ、錯視を利用する事で描かれる新しいフォルムを提案し、エッシャーの絵のような不思議さを与える事で視覚の面から衣服を構築する。

Shadow puppet “Wayang Kulit”, ornamented with openwork.
Monsters lurk in the shadows, for example “Alien”.
I express the pattern of “Wayang Kulit” by cutting out and assembling “the shading film”.
The appearance to which the shadow greatly extends is expressed by combining “the coil” with the knit.

影の揺らぎ
［コンセプト］
繊細な文様が透かし彫りされたインドネシアの影絵人形“ワヤン・クリ”。
影に潜み、獲物を狙う禍々しいモンスター。
この2つを影の特性である巨大化、歪み、揺らぎを踏まえ表現する。
コイルを巻きつけた生地の伸縮性で、揺らぎと歪みを、遮光フィルムをワヤン・クリを模してカッティングし、組み立てる事によって、揺らぎと歪みを表現する。
